Etchant (Ferric Chloride)

A pack of ferric chloride (FeCl3) crystals for etching copper clad boards. Dissolve the crystals in approximately 1 pint of cold water. Note when using any chemicals such as ferric chloride wear protective gloves, clothing and safety goggles also us in a suitable area away from food. If used with care these chemicals are safe. Avoid contact with the skin.

Proto-bloc

Protobloc is a prototyping system offering a fast and economical method for circuit construction and development. The system is completely solder-less in concept thus allowing components be used time & time again.
Components are plugged into the board and are retained by double leaf spring contacts. By spacing sockets on a 2.54mm matrix all dual-in-line intregated circuits, plus many other components such as resistors, capacitors switches LEDs can simply be plugged into the board. An ideal system for teaching of electronic systems and circuit design.
Protobloc 1:- has a total of 400 tie points consisting of 5 interconnected contact sockets plus 4 rows of 25 interconnected sockets running alongside. Suitable for use as power rails. All contact positions are clearly defined on an alphanumeric grid.
